The Date Palm Removal
-
BIBS'donated funds for the removal, in February 2002, of the Date Palm near the Cactus House entrance. The Palm, nearly 100 years old, was threatening to break through the glass at the top of the dome. Willow Wood Landscape and Tree Care and arborist, Steve Turner, were able to remove the Palm in three days. Enjoy the pictures of this historic event. BIBS will also be funding the removal of the stump and other pruning in the Palm House.
